We need your input!

We would like to compile a record of good fish - barbel, chub and pike in particular that are caught on our stretch of the Wye. If you have any information from this current season we would be pleased to hear about them. We also need more pictures for the website.

Give as much info - date/time of day/bait used/method as you are prepared to divulge!

This also applies to any catches in the future. Looking forward to your feedback.

Many thanks:

A lovely carp caught on a "non-standard" bait.

IN JACK'S WORDS : "Good morning to you--how do you like this carp? Caught at Plump Hill pool on 4th March 2010, 7,30 am on chick pea for bait. No idea of the weight as I was on my own and had a bit of a problem propping the camera up to take the picture before the shutter went off. Useless to use maggots on this pool as there are countless tiny bream which attack the bait before a better fish can be hooked."

    Regards.   Jack Paget.
